In the past few weeks, Zoom has retired the functionality of its original Chrome OS extension so that users only have the PWA which is having multiple issues. To better serve its Chrome OS users, Zoom announced earlier this year that it would be releasing a new Progressive Web App (PWA), which has since been launched in beta with some new features.
The Zoom video conferencing app grew in popularity in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and is still very popular to this day.
